It appears we don't celebrate Mothers day in this house. Last year was a whole maelstrom of emotions. So I wasn't surprised. This year I thought maybe. But no. So that's ok, at least now I know.
So it was a regular Sunday and I had fun hanging out with the little one as I always do at weekends. We had planned to try going out but in the end decided it wasn't worth the effort and just played in the house and garden. She has developed a few amusing habits over the last few days.
1. When you cuddle her (which I do every second I get) she pats your arm or back reassuringly. It's so sweet.
2. Row, row, row boat has been scrapped in favour of "E i e i o" from Old McDonalds. Although it did catch me by surprise when I said I was going to McDonalds for brekkie and she started singing "E i e i o"
3. She has developed her own language alongside the regular phrases ("All gone" and "more please" being her favourites). The hubby speaks it a lot better than I do!
4. Finally a little trick that my hubby taught her - she bent over the other evening and farted. She turn and looked at us and laughed her little head off!
Anyway - here is another video. I defy you not to smile when you watch it. I am saving it for when I feel blue! The video is poor quality because it was taken on my Blackberry at night - but the sound is what says it all.
