The day started with me taking my car in for its 3000 mile service (it’s done 4700-oops!). I figured I would get my exercise and walk into town and back. It was sleeting but really pretty
There is a Tesco’s on this road that I reckon has the best view of any around
I realised that my new trousers weren’t the fit that I thought they were and spent the 20 minute walk into town hoiking them up. So after a Starbucks first thing on the agenda was buy a new pair of jeans to walk back in!
There are lots of statues around Dundee – here are the penguins
We were going to take the little one in and have brekkie in a cafe but between the weather and her snotty-ness with the latest illness picked up from nursery we decided against it
The little one was having great fun playing with her Ikea chair which she calls the Humpty chair (cos it’s like an egg)
She also has been looking after her Furreal panda called Yo Yo wonderfully. She cuddles him, comforts him, tucks him up in bed and generally treats him like her little baby.
We also made it out for a walk down the path despite my sore feet. This was the longest walk we’ve had since the summer ended and was great fun. Although I got very nervous when she headed off into the field. Can you see her?
Death Cat joined us when we got back and, after they chased each other around for a bit he was very naughty and took a swipe at her
Luckily he just got her hat. But this is a consequence of their relationship.
We also took away another child safety feature and moved the fence from around the hubby’s computer to be just around the fireplace.
All in all, despite having a streaming nose all day, the little one had a really good day.
