Fory yw Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant.
Dydw I ddim un gallu siarad Gymraeg rwan.
Rydw I wedi anghofio popeth o'r 18 blwyddyn cyntaf o fy mywyd.
Mae'r un fach un dysgu Cymraeg ond dydw I ddim yn gallu cofio'r geiriau
Mae hi wedi dysgu un trwy deg.
Mae hi wedi dysgu'r dyddiau yn y wythnos
Mae hi wedi dysgu "sws"
Ond rydw I wedi anghofio'r rhan fwyaf o fy iaith. Sud ydi hi yn mynd I ddysgu mwy o'r iaith?
This is my post in honour of St Davids day on the 1st March. He is the patron saint of Wales and celebrated with a daffodil and a leek - oh the glamour (I'm good at making leeks out of paper!)
He is one of the few patron saint that is actually from the country he's associated with. St. David was actually a Welsh preacher.
- St. Patrick (Ireland) was Welsh and was captured by Irish slave traders when he was 16 and taken over to Ireland.
- St. Andrew (Scotland) came from Constantinople, on a boat, when he was dead. He was shipwrecked on the coast of Scotland and his Relics were taken as a sign and he was made the patron saint.
- St. George was a Roman soldier.
There are doubtless countless inaccuracies in the passage above. That is my point. I am trying to teach the little one Welsh but despite being fluent at one point I've forgotten most of it.
I'm finding it so hard to teach her.
