That's it - another weekend over and a little bit closer to the end of the course. What a terrible thought. I love this course so much I really don't want it to be over!
After my tumble yesterday, my right knee was still swollen today which was not good. My left knee was fine which was a good thing.
It was another interesting day where we were looking at performance and more specifically - sports performance. It's a fab area to work on with some really straightforward things to do (as with most of Cognitive hypnotherapy!) We got to practice on each other again and then Trevor mentioned that if any of us had any sport we did that we would like to be a demo subject for him to work on for the class then they should let him know.
Now everyone pretty much knows I am running the London Marathon a week today (eep!) so I asked if I could be the demo - and he said yes!
So this afternoon Trevor worked on me in front of the class to give me some suggestions that will help during the race itself. He recorded it too and will send me the track to download and listen to. Brilliant timing - just what I need.
We also did more work on how people behave and communicate. As time goes on I can really see how this stuff could be useful in business coaching and need to give some time (as soon as I have some!) to putting some structure around it.
Meanwhile this week I have a builder coming to talking about the conversion of the garage to my therapy room so I am good to go as soon as I am qualified. The hubby seems to have had a good weekend with the little one too which is a bonus.
My knee is already a lot better as we approach the evening and I sit here in London City airport waiting for an 8:25 flight home.
So this week is all about preparation for the big day next Sunday. I must admit to looking forward to getting it out of the way and getting back to some semblance of normality. I am working the Monday - Wednesday after the marathon but am off on the Thursday and Friday. In many ways that is where I am focussing a lot of my attention right now.
