It’s been a while since I’ve taken up the tag in a meme on this blog but you know, a lot of my posts have been quite heavy lately so when Tattooed Mummy tagged me on this one I figured it was time for a bit of fun. No list of rules for this one, just a list of Q & As ...3,2,1 and they're off
If everyday tasks were an Olympic event what would you get a gold medal in?
Hmm…I try and avoid everyday tasks but if it was anything I suppose these days it would be making gluten free bread for the little one. Whether it’s in the over, breadmaker or even slow cooker, I think I’m getting pretty good at making it quickly and sort of bread like.
As a child, or now even, did you excel at a particular sport?
I am almost a winner at everything I do. I always get second place which is sooo frustrating! I could handle 3rd better. I just don’t have the discipline to be the best at anything. So I was good at hockey, netball, tennis, discuss and shotput, squash and various other sports. I get on the team but I never win.
Michael Phelps (swimmer) or Michael Johnson (runner) - which sport appeals to you more?
That is really tough! I love to swim but have just discovered a love of barefoot running. Can I have both?
How fast can you get out of bed and ready to go out the door if you miss the alarm and sleep in?
alarm? What’s one of those. It’s been at least 4 years since I last got up with an alarm. Not my choice of course – it’s the little one’s! Anyway, 5 minutes probably from wake up to out the door. I can wake up and be good to go very quickly!
What fantasy sport would you like to see made into an Olympic event?
Toddler dancing. It has got to be the most entertaining thing on the planet!
Claim to fame time: have you ever met an Olympian and who was it?
Nope!
What event in past Olympics can you remember most vividly?
Hmm gosh – was it the Olympics where Paula Radcliffe stopped for a wee? I love the diving but that’s only just started getting decent coverage. I guess I remember the Seb Coe kind of days too.
Tuning in at home or tickets clamped in sweaty palms?
Home. Maybe..
Who do you think most deserves a gold medal (any walk of life not just Olympians)?
Ah now that’s a tough one isn’t it because it’s just gonna end up being all mushy and stuff when I say my hubby for endurance in the face of adversity. I mean, he’s put up with a miserable me for years and he’s bringing up the little one despite illness and stuff.
Next to pass the baton on…
So first I pass to
I pass to Becca because it was her fault I ran the marathon and this is an opportunity to get to know a little more about her.
and Jenny because her boys might give her a different perspective on this one!
Feel free to snatch the baton for yourself if you want to answer the questions, and leave a comment here so I can pop over to look.
