Many moons ago, when the little one was a baby, we regularly went to Starbucks in Borders as a family. It was open all hours and it was easy to get to and hang out in
Then they went bust and shut.
Every Thursday evening it is late night shopping in town (until 7:30pm – lucky us!) The only Starbucks we have in Dundee is in the indoor shopping centre so its opening hours are limited to the same as the shopping centre. This is not good.
But on Thursday it’s open later.
So every Thursday, the little one and I head to town after work for a Starbucks.
The little one has a hot chocolate with whipped cream. She has a packet of crisps and when she’s eaten the cream she dips her crisps into her hot chocolate.
She has fruit smoothie.
She has a gluten free brownie and shares a tub of fruit with me.
As she’s grown older I can leave her at the table while I collect the food and now, when I return, we get to chat and watch people.
My Thursday evening trip to town with the little one is one of my favourite things we do together.
This was all put together for this weeks gallery over at sticky fingers where the subject is "Food"
