Hmm haven’t done a general update for a while have I?
So what’s going on? Here is my update with a few random photos
Well I got screwed over by the builders and by garage conversion hasn’t even started yet. I paid a deposit which they haven’t returned. On the plus side I do have a contact from my window cleaner (who is also a fireman) for a colleague of his that does building work. I will contact him as soon as my phones are fixed (they’ve been down for a week)
It’s the little one’s birthday on Sunday. The party will be at our house and the cake will be a Cat in the Hat cake.
I have finished my Cognitive Hypnotherapy course and am now open for business. I have already started making money and seeing clients. This is evenings and weekends only until I have built my business up.
And of course I published a book
The little one has completed her first year at pre-school. She won’t move up next year but will stay in the pre-school class with her friends. The criteria is, I believe, if they have their birthday in February and turn 4 they can go up but hers isn’t until July. She loves school and has loads of friends. My toddler is now a little girl and growing every day.
She’s getting pretty good at sleeping. She goes to bed at 7 and after a story and a song she goes straight to sleep almost every night. She gets up between 6 and 7am.
The Olympics are about to start so I am doing even less travel than usual.
My weight loss stalled after I had to force a change in behaviours for the marathon. I believe I am back on track now and will do an update in a while. I have started barefoot running and love it. I go running every day (except I have a leg injury right now so am having some time off)
The little one is getting really good at drawing and any time she spots a pen and some paper
Spud has grown into a lovely cat. He is very affectionate and was not happy when we went away. He doesn’t like cat food so has dry food and water available at all times. This means he pretty much chooses to co-habit with us, coming and going as he pleases. He loves the little one and always gives her lots of attention
Unfortunately he’s also a really good hunter. So we have to shut him in the utility room overnight with his food, drink and the catflap, to make sure we don’t wake up to carnage in the morning. He’s caught a couple of moles
And that’s us really.
Everything is pretty happy here.
