I have two reasons for posting this photo (apart from the fact my hubby just discovered it on an external drive)
The little one is barely 3 months old. She was a tiny thing. With beautiful delicate fingers.
She was so beautiful (and still is!) like a little doll.
And then there is the ‘elephant in the room’. A delicate subject that no-one seemed to talk about
And that is how much weight I put on while I was pregnant!
You know that whole “are you pregnant or have you just put a huge amount of weight on” thing? Well in my case it was both. I honestly didn’t realise how bad I had let it get.
But it’s ok. Because that is looking back. And I’m getting there now
And of course, she may not be quite as delicate anymore, but the little one is still just as beautiful as ever
