As the little one bounced around the living room yesterday I noted that her top was way too short.
She’s definitely had a growth spurt. She is now one of the tallest kids in her class.
School is going really well. In Scotland they don’t start full time school until they’re 5 so she is in nursery for another year. But she really wanted to be in P1 with some of the other kids from the class who turned 5. So much so that I ended up buying her a load of polo shirts so she could feel like she was wearing a “schooliform”.
Since returning after the summer holidays her attitude in class changed to. She nominated herself as the responsible one – helping the teacher. In fact her teacher was raving about how much she had come along over the summer holidays.
She has her boyfriends of course.
Her best friend’s brother started in nursery this year so now she has 2 boyfriends in her class. We see trouble brewing as they all get older!
When they arrive at school they run over and give her a cuddle and a kiss, and then they hold hands.
She’s the happiest child you could know. Of course she’s a bit naughty sometimes, there’s a lot to work out when you’re 4 so you have to constantly push the boundaries. But she is polite, friendly, loving and most of all happy.
