Did you realise I’d run a marathon? Not just any marathon – the Virgin London Marathon in 2012. I still can’t believe that I did that in April this year.
It seems I do a lot to keep fit these days.
I run every day.
I run barefoot style in my Vibrams.
I run for at least 15 minutes, focussing more on getting out and doing something than doing long distances.
I wear a Garmin 405cx to track my run and listen to my music on an iPod Nano where I also use Nike+ to track my run.
Whenever the little one and I go out we run everywhere. I love the fact that she runs out of breath before I do!
I have become somewhat of a runner. So much so that if I go a few days without running I get really twitchy!
I don’t run on the treadmill any more because I hate it.
I run down this path. It’s ok when it’s dry. When it’s been raining it gets pretty muddy which can be a challenge!
And now I’ve started playing the games on Your Shape for the Xbox Kinect with the little one when I finish work.
There is a running game, a skipping game, and a game where you punch boxes out. The little one and I have a great time working up a sweat on these games.
