This is the back garden over the last week. And it’s still snowing and building up
Yesterday the little one’s school opened for the first time this week.
This is the road on the way up there.
So the hubby took her to school and because of all the snow he couldn’t park on the right side of the road or open her door when he had parked. So she had to climb over the drivers side and into the road. At which point an idiot came round the bend too fast. So the hubby picked up the little one and shoved her into a snow bank and safety. The hubby was paralysed many years ago, technically he shouldn't be able to walk but when he does it causes a bit of bone to rub on his spinal chord causing bleeding, pain and a tendency for his legs to collapse. So picking up a 4.5 year old and throwing her is not a good idea. In fact a very bad idea.
He came home and was in agony. So much so that he needed to take painkillers for the first time in a long long time. Luckily they helped and he was soon high as a kite (which in itself was quite amusing!)
Today I am off work because I am supposed to be heading to a course in London. It’s snowing again. A lot. There is no way I will be flying. I have had to clear the driveway twice already today and will need a 3rd go at it in an hour or so.
Luckily I have changed my flight to tomorrow morning and sorted the hotel. My fingers are now firmly crossed but it is not good. If I don’t make this course I will have to wait a year for the next one.
So we’ve tried to have fun but it’s not funny any more!
